  • GROUP CLASSES | 12 hour cancellation window

    LATE CANCELLATION - if you cancel your class after the 12hr mark, you will lose your class credit

    NO SHOW - if you do not show up for class and you have not cancelled your class (by cancelling on the Ara Pilates + Movement app, sending us an email, leaving us a voicemail, sending us a text 760.423.6584) it is considered a “no show”. You will lose your class credit as well as incur a $20 fee

    PRIVATE SESSIONS | 24 hour cancellation window

    Private Sessions must be cancelled or rescheduled with more than 24 hours notice. If you do not cancel within this timeframe or do not show up for your appointment, you will not lose your private session credit, but you will incur a $70 late cancellation fee.

  • All group classes and private sessions are 50 minutes and will begin and end promptly as scheduled, regardless of arrival time

    Please arrive 5-10 minutes early for your scheduled session

    For safety reasons and for the courtesy of those on the waiting list, we have a 5 minute arrival window for Group Classes. You may join class up to 5 minutes after class has started

    Please turn your phone off or on silent while you are in the studio

    Grip Socks are required for both safety and hygiene in all Group Classes and Private Sessions

    We recommend wearing comfortable athletic/yoga wear to your session and to tie your hair back

    PAYMENT

    + Payment is due when services are rendered, we accept cash and all credit and debit cards. We do not accept check payments. Our payment processing system Mariana Tek requires a card on file for your Ara Pilates + Movement account. If you prefer not to use a credit or debit card with your personal information attached, we suggest purchasing a prepaid reloadable debit card so that our system can have a card on file for your account.

    EXPIRATIONS + NEW CLIENT PACKAGES

    + All packages of classes, Privates, and Duets are valid for 12 months from the purchase date. Monthly Autopay packages are valid for 1 month - any unused sessions after the expiration date are automatically forfeited. New client packages may only be purchased once

    WAITING LISTS

    + We have 3 waiting list spaces allotted for every class. If you choose to sign up on a waiting list, the system will automatically add you into the class up to an hour before class starts. There is no penalty to remove yourself from the waiting list, so if you decide to make other plans (even within the 12hr mark), please remove yourself from the waiting list so others can be added into class. If you are added into class, we assume you are coming so please plan to join us if you are added into class or cancel appropriately.

    CANCELLATIONS

You will lose your class credit as well as incur a $20 fee. Your first late cancel or no show are considered "freebies" and will be returned to your account in good faith.

    + Private Sessions have a 24 hour cancellation window and must be cancelled or rescheduled with more than 24 hours notice. If you do not cancel within this timeframe by sending us an email, or contacting us by text/phone 760.423.6584 you will lose your private session credit.

    STUDIO POLICIES

    At Ara Pilates + Movement, we respect your concerns about privacy. This policy is intended to ensure your information is handled in a safe and responsible manner. Ara Pilates currently gathers personal information strictly for contact purposes and to curate personally tailored exercise programs for each client. All information gathered from submission forms on our website are completely confidential and we do not share your personally identifiable information with third parties, outside of the limited circumstances referenced in the following statement. We may use your information to communicate special offers, promotions, events and information about our company to you via email. If you do not wish to receive these emails, you will have an option to opt out of future mailings.

    LIABILITY

    The Participant is aware that practicing Pilates Method of exercise may result in accident or injury, and understands, acknowledges and assumes the risks associated with exercise in the Ara Pilates studio. The Participant declares their own good health and suffers from no known physical impairment, which would limit their use of Ara Pilates apparatus or facilities. Participant acknowledges that Ara Pilates has not and will not render any medical services, including medical diagnosis of Participant's physical condition.

    Participant specifically agrees that Ara Pilates, its officers, employees, and agents, shall not be liable for any claim, demand, cause of action of any kind whatsoever for, or on account of death, personal injury, property damage or loss of any kind, resulting from or related to Participant's use of the facilities or participation in any exercise or activity within or without the Ara Pilates premises, and Participant agrees to hold Ara Pilates harmless from same. I have read the above release and waiver of liability and fully understand its contents. I voluntarily agree to the terms and conditions stated above.

    The novel coronavirus, COVID-19, has been declared a worldwide pandemic by the World Health Organization. COVID-19 is reported to be extremely contagious. The state of medical knowledge is evolving, but the virus is believed to spread from person-to-person contact and/or by contact with contaminated surfaces and objects, and even possibly in the air. People reportedly can be infected and show no symptoms and therefore spread the disease. The exact methods of spread and contraction are unknown, and there is no known treatment, cure, or vaccine for COVID-19. Evidence has shown that COVID-19 can cause serious and potentially life threatening illness and even death.

    Ara Pilates + Movement cannot prevent you from becoming exposed to, contracting, or spreading COVID-19 while utilizing Ara Pilates + Movement’s services or premises. It is not possible to prevent against the presence of the disease. Therefore, if you choose to utilize Ara Pilates + Movement’s services and/or enter onto Ara Pilates + Movement’s premises you may be exposing yourself to and/or increasing your risk of contracting or spreading COVID-19.

    ASSUMPTION OF RISK: I have read and understood the above warning concerning COVID-19. I hereby choose to accept the risk of contracting COVID-19 for myself in order to utilize

    Ara Pilates + Movement’s services and enter Ara Pilates + Movement’s premises. These services are of such value to me that I accept the risk of being exposed to, contracting, and/or spreading COVID-19 in

    order to utilize Ara Pilates + Movement's services and premises in person, rather than arranging for an alternative method of enjoying the same services virtually.

    WAIVER OF LAWSUIT/LIABILITY: I hereby forever release and waive my right to bring suit against Ara Pilates + Movement and its owners, officers, directors, managers, officials, trustees, agents, employees, or other representatives in connection with exposure, infection, and/or spread of COVID-19 related to utilizing Ara Pilates + Movement’s services and premises. I understand that this waiver means I give up my right to bring any claims including for personal injuries, death, disease or property losses, or any other loss, including but not limited to claims of negligence and give up any claim I may have to seek damages, whether known or unknown, foreseen or unforeseen.

    CHOICE OF LAW: I understand and agree that the law of the State of California will apply to this contract.
